Dale Wolery is available as his schedule permits to lead you in your intervention and new beginning. He will only commit to your intervention if he can realistically commit to give it the time and attention required.
Dale leads family and work place interventions and is especially suited to aid churches, denominations and ministry organizations in addressing an addicted employee or staff member.
Dale is an experienced recovery specialist. For more than 35 years as a minister he practiced informal interventions and was a leader in conflict resolution. Since the early Nineties he has worked as a recognized professional in the recovery world. He has served as the Executive Director of the National Association for Christian Recovery and is the Founder and Director of the Clergy Recovery Network. He has written numerous articles on recovery and change. He continues to lead the Clergy Recovery Network in its strategic ministry to clergy and their families. This ministry matches his passion to mentor Ministry Professionals in crisis and early recovery.
For hundreds of clergy families Dale has been the one to whom they turned when their crisis left them feeling they had no one who could help them. As Dale works with Ministry Professionals he must consistently intervene in the lives of those who want no help and are afraid for anyone to find out they need it. Meeting these challenges and mentoring the change which springs from them are two of the factors which give his life meaning. Regularly he guides people refusing recovery or professional help to seek both. Conducting interventions is part of this ministry.
Recovery is not just theoretical for Dale. He knows the power of addiction, the pain of facing its difficult and shameful reality and the freedom of sobriety and recovery. Dale’s recovery journey has made him a rare combination of genuine concern and gritty honesty. He is both fun loving and no nonsense. His teaching skill and knowledge of the addictive and recovery processes suit him well to lead interventions.
For years, churches have relied on Dale for his skill and insight to guide them in conflict resolution. When pastors and church boards conflict, Dale mediates and consults effectively. When a Ministry Professional is out of control Dale also practices interventions in the work place. He is exceptionally matched to intervene on behalf of Christian Ministries and other businesses with troubled employees.
Do you think he might be too religious to help your loved one? No. Despite Dale’s ministry experience and heart for clergy, he does not use religious code words or “come off” as a religious guy. He knows well the value of meeting people where they are.

So sorry for your plight, Edward. If you email me directly perhaps I will be able to help you find something where you life. The Salvation Army has some wonderful “free” addictions recovery programs and they have been really useful to tons of folks. May you find the sobriety for which you long.

Do you know of any impatient christian recovery programs, that offer lowcost financing, I lost my job as janitor at church and have relapsed with drinking? Thankyou
